Hello 7th Grade Parents and Guardians!
Would you like your child to receive free Specialized High School Admission Test (SHSAT) preparation, for the upcoming SHSAT test in October? Look no further.
All MS 61 7th grade students are invited to apply with their parents, for free SHSAT preparation through the StuyPrep program.
The SHSAT is the only test used to select students to attend one of these eight top desirable High Schools in New York City, (Brooklyn Latin, Brooklyn Tech, Stuyvesant High School, High School for Math, Science and Engineering, and four others).
Students who have gained placement in these schools needed to learn special strategies to make a score of 85% and higher.
StuyPrep is a professional SHSAT tutoring program. It is operated by the Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association on Saturdays, during the summer and the fall up to the week before test in October.
To complete the Application, go to the website https://www.stuyprep.org as soon as possible, as space is limited. APPLY by filling in the form and take the diagnostic EXAM in two or three sittings. The application is available up to May 31st. All your questions are answered on the website.
